What is assembly? assembly is comprised of one or more SolidWorks Parts or Assemblies, and is used to model relationships between these subcomponents or subassemblies using relationships called  Mates . How many mates in solidworks? The purpose of mate is to create a mechanism or model that made from at least 2 parts.  mates in solidworks are in 3 categories: standard mates , mechanical mates and advanced mates .  to use mate you should go to assembly mode. select the parts you wanna to mate them and select a logical mate from mate icon in assembly tool bar or from inset> mate.  What is mate? Mates create geometric relationships between assembly components. As you add mates, you define the allowable directions of linear or rotational motion of the components. Repair file of part    - This step if your part design have a some trouble in surface of part design. SolidWorks can repair it use import fiture diagnostic. 3. Check the correct of draft design   - this steps used for checking mold tooling product. You can use draft analysis fiture. 4 Repair the face (un-draft)  - If your product have some trouble in draft you can use draft in command manager mold tools. 5.
